"Stunning old world hotel in strolling distance to Mid-Town fun. Pre-baby we'd stayed in a residential suite and it was beyond fabulous--I was ready to move in to the expansive living room, bedroom, dressing room and huge bathroom. Non-resi suite was perfect for travel with baby (W=A provided crib), though the fridge wasn't quite set up for personal use and had trouble getting our ice packs re-frozen for storing breast milk.
Also took a small room for our nanny, who found it too low/loud to sleep above the fire station and had to move (not sure which side she was on, but she's a particularly light sleeper).
Bit of a mess checking in with car and baby. Valet sent me in one direction, nanny and baby in another direction, and kept husband at car to sign in.
Also, room service was a disappointment. Cold French toast with no syrup, etc. Most expensive room service-for-least-pleasure I've had in a long time."

"Unfortunatly i've never travelled in New York or Milan, but I did a lot in Paris. It dedenps what you mean by not too expensive , because usually the 4star hotel are a bit expensive. But I can advise you a few great 3 stars . The hotel Relais Bosquet in the 7th arrondissement, close to the Eiffel Tower, it's a safe and nice place. The hotel has reasonnable prices! . hotel-paris-bosquet. com/ . The hotel Elysees Union is very beautiful! The suites are huge, and rather luxurious. It's close to the Arc de Triomphe! And to finish I'm thinking about the hotel Palais Bourbon, in the 7th too, but in the other side, near the Rodin museum and the Invalides. The hotel is very charming, and the staff is great! "Truly a hidden little gem in the bustle of midtown -- new guest rooms are gorgeous, Fireside restaurant + bar=AWESOME and the service could not be friendlier.
The hotel also has tasteful meeting rooms on their 2nd floor that would be perfect for a smaller group conference.
Lots of good stuff. I hope to be back there soon."
